Vocalist and Vocal Coach
BMus (hons) London, LRAM, PG Dip. RCM
I’m a lyric soprano and singing teacher originally from Melbourne, now based in Brisbane. I trained in London, undertaking the Vocal Studies (Performers) pathway at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM), one of the world’s leading conservatoires, where I studied with the renowned voice teacher Joy Mammen for four years as an undergraduate. While at the RAM, I was honoured to receive the Parepa Rosa Prize for Oratorio, as well as a prize for the best vocal final recital in my first year.
For postgraduate studies, I attended the equally distinguished Royal College of Music (RCM) in London, completing a PG Dip with Eiddwen Harrhy. I also had the privilege of working with Dinah Harris, a respected speech therapist and singing teacher at the RCM, and have collaborated with many of London’s top vocal coaches and opera directors. I hold a Licentiate Diploma in Singing Teaching (LRAM) from the Royal Academy of Music.
I’ve composed music from a young age, and in recent years I’ve been developing my work more seriously. Outside of music, I enjoy exploring art and architecture.
