Bria Lauren is a lyric soprano and singing teacher originally from Melbourne, who trained in London and is now based in Brisbane, Australia. Bria undertook the vocal studies (performers) pathway at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) in London, one of the leading conservatoires in the world. At the RAM she studied with renowned voice teacher, Joy Mammen, for four years as an undergraduate. Whilst at the RAM Bria won the Parepa Rosa Prize for Oratorio as well as a prize for best vocal final recital in the first year. For post graduate studies, Bria attended the equally distinguished, Royal College of Music (RCM), London, for study at PG Dip. level with Eiddwen Harrhy.
Bria went on to work with Dinah Harris, a respected speech therapist and singing teacher now at the RCM in London, and has worked with many of London's best vocal coaches and opera directors as well. Bria holds a Licentiate Diploma in Singing Teaching (LRAM) from the Royal Academy of Music.
Bria has composed music from a young age but started 'getting serious' about composition in only the last few years. Bria's other interests are in art and architecture.
